I keep coming back to this place in Bilit because I'm always satisfied. The staff guided me on where to eat and I'm grateful for their help. This place has all I need: Wi-Fi, kettle, and a restaurant. See you next Easter!

Title: Great fun and adventure, but could use more nightlife options

The only downside for young party-goers like us was that there wasn't much nightlife at the lodge. It would have been even more fun if there were some evening activities or a bar where we could hang out and meet other young people.

During my recent business trip to Nature Lodge Kinabatangan in Bilit, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and appreciated the various recreational opportunities the hotel had to offer. From exciting guided jungle treks to peaceful river cruises, there was always something to do and explore. The complimentary bottled water was a convenient addition, ensuring I stayed hydrated throughout my stay. the hotel provided a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Well, the mosquitoes were the only drawback during my stay.

the friendly and welcoming staff at Nature Lodge made us feel right at home. They were always there to answer our questions and cater to our needs. the rooms were surprisingly comfortable and clean, providing a cozy space to rest after a day of adventure. the highlight of our trip was the safari, where we had the rare opportunity to spot three orangutans, along with a crocodile and countless monkeys. the night walk for birds was also a memorable experience. the whole atmosphere of the lodge was amazing, and we even made lifelong friends with fellow travelers. Special mention goes to Mohammed, our guide, who was not only nice but also informative. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Cons: Nothings 🙌.

We had an incredible adventure at Nature Lodge Kinabatangan. Our guide, Joe, was friendly and knowledgeable, taking us on river cruises where we saw monkeys, crocodiles, and even an orangutan. The food was delicious, especially the vegetarian options they provided for us. Despite being in the jungle, the sleeping room was free of mosquitoes. The staff were helpful and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this unique experience.

Complimentary WiFi access in public areas: I was able to stay connected to the outside world while enjoying the serene beauty of the lodge, just like a modern-day Tarzan swinging on the internet vines.

Lack of jungle briefing: The only downside was the absence of a proper jungle briefing, resulting in a missed opportunity to fully understand and appreciate the history and current state of the jungle.

The food was absolutely amazing!!! The dorm room was super clean and had AC. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our river guides were jaw-droppingly amazing! We saw more wildlife than we could have imagined. The chalet was surprisingly comfortable with a great AC and hot showers. The staff were super nice and the food was tasty. The lodge met all our expectations and the staff were accommodating to our needs. The guides were informative and the wellie boots were a practical and useful touch. The organization was excellent and we made friends with fellow guests. The ensuite room was clean and easy to have cleaned daily. Two nights was the perfect amount of time. Thank you staff for being so accommodating to us!

We had an amazing time during our New Year stay at this lodge! The wildlife sightings were incredible, with pygmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, and even an orangutan. The river cruises were a highlight, giving us the opportunity to see a variety of animals up close. The food at the lodge was delicious, and we especially appreciated the vegetarian options. The location was perfect, with the lodge situated in a beautiful natural setting near the river.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the bathroom was in need of improvement, with poor water flow in the shower.

Our two-month journey through Southeast Asia led us to the best decision we made - staying at Nature Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the lovely staff made us feel at home. They were always friendly and accommodating, even providing gluten-free meals. The guides were knowledgeable, helping us spot orangutans and get up close to monkeys on boat trips. The wildlife opportunities were exceptional, with sightings of hornbills, kingfishers, crocodiles. The comfy beds, delicious and varied food, and inclusive amenities made our stay truly memorable.

    Totally recommend this hotel!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We were provided with useful information about the local wildlife and on what to wear during the activities. The food was delicious, and they had a store where we could buy snacks and rent equipment like binoculars. the boat tours and guided walks were amazing, giving us the opportunity to see a variety of wild animals such as orangutans, proboscis monkeys, and crocodiles.

The rooms were a bit worn out, but they were clean and had warm water for showers. there was construction work going on in front of our chalet, which caused constant noise and paint smell, making it difficult to relax during the day.
